Kimberly Godsey

Kimberly has a wealth of experience in corporate legal matters, regulatory review and compliance, and
dispute resolution within the utility and energy management industry. For the past 10 years as a licensed
attorney, she has managed the legal department for two companies within the utility and energy
management sector, handling regulatory compliance, contract management, acquisitions, litigation, and
other corporate legal matters. Kimberly is also a very active member of the Utility Management &
Conservation Association as a Board member and a Government Affairs Committee member. In addition,
Kimberly has spoken on utility regulatory compliance at several utility and energy management seminars
and webinars nationwide.
Kimberly is a member of the State Bar of Texas African-American Lawyer Section (Council Member),
Dallas Bar Association, JL Turner Legal Association (Mentorship Co-Chair), Dallas Women’s Lawyer
Association, and Board Member of Community Elite, a non-profit teen community service organization.
She is a graduate of Texas A&M School of Law (formerly Texas Wesleyan School of Law) and is a
licensed attorney in the state of Texas.
